Who am I and why am I doing this?
Hello! I’m Jordan Gruenhage.
I’m a Canadian counsellor who specializes in helping gay men understand their emotions better, heal from past trauma, and grow their sense of self-worth.
And like you, with everything going on in the world, I’ve found that lately it takes extra effort to take care of my mental health. (Yes, counsellors get stressed out, we’re not all eternally calm beings).
Extra mental health challenges make sense given the state of the world right now, but that doesn’t mean they’re fun to deal with.
I wanted to find a way to give my fellow gay men some useful mental health materials that could actually help right now. Even if it’s just for a few moments, or to help you get through a particularly hard day, week, month… or year (I’m looking at you 2020).
And that’s it really, it’s pretty simple. 🙂 So if this sounds good to you, my hope is that you’ll sign up and find these resources helpful.
